Searching for Directors for your Board?
The New England Director's Registry provides public and private companies with access to directorship candidates from our database. Administered by the New England Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors, the NE Registry offers a tailored and effective way for organizations to find outside directors. We are adding this service here in New England to fill a need that companies like yours have for expanding their sources in recruiting board members.
Here’s how the NACD New England Chapter Director's Registry works
A member of the New England Director's Registry Screening Committee will contact you to discuss the process in more detail and answer any questions. Capturing the directorship criteria, understanding the current board and company culture, and gaining a feel for the company’s key mission, is essential to the screening of targeted candidates. All information collected will be kept in strict confidence. Once we have the appropriate information, the Screening Committee, comprised of experienced directors, will review our database for candidates and submit the resumes of those who meet the requested criteria. We believe that you will be pleased with the caliber of candidates that NACD New England has to offer.

Members Seeking Directorships:
If you are seeking your first or additional directorships, register for the New England Director's Registry. If you would like to be a candidate for a directorship, fill out the members’ registration form and submit it with your resume. There is a nominal charge of $75 for three years. This service is available only to New England NACD members. Listing in the New England Chapter Director's Registry does not automatically include you in the NACD National Director's Registry; you must list your credentials directly with National as well.
How it works
When a company submits the qualifications it is seeking in a director, the New England Chapter Director's Registry’s Screening Committee will review its database for candidates that fit the company’s requirements. If there is a match with your skill set and objectives, the committee will contact you, the candidate, to determine your continued interest as some time may have passed since you registered. Resumes of appropriate and interested candidates will be submitted to the company. No member of the screening committee may be a candidate for a search which they are assigned to lead.

We need to constantly add new companies and contacts and update our database to keep in contact with New England Board leaders.
