This is particularly true in New England, where a preponderance of small and medium-sized public and private companies intermingle with a robust non-profit sector to form an unusually diverse – but under-appreciated – corporate governance ecosystem.
Once a year, however, our region’s most effective boardroom leaders do receive the standing ovation their contributions have earned. That moment is NACD New England’s Annual Director of the Year Awards.
